I would identify Blackstar Canyon. This area really exemplifies the little-known natural beauty of Orange County, and has a fascinating historical context. MAP
In 1856, the Japanese artist Hiroshige did a famous series of woodcut prints titled: "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo." Edo was to become Tokyo. I am currently engaged in a project called: "One Hundred Famous Views of the OC." What is different about my project is that all images are from locations which were chosen by volunteers who responded to an open call that I placed on the Orange County Craigslist. (See sidebar for description of project.)
